ASHFIELD
Located in one of Sydney’s new coolest suburbs, Ashfield, this project involved a major redesign of this beautiful old home.
Our client wanted to keep the bones of the original home and demolish the renovation at the back of the house that was completed in the 1960s.
The “old house” was reconfigured to have four large bedrooms, the master bedroom also needed to include a good sized walk in robe and ensuite.
The last part of the redesign required a large family bathroom and laundry to suit an active family.
The renovation is nothing short of stunning with a huge open plan living and dining area, joined by a huge kitchen with a massive walk in pantry.
A large island bench was included in the kitchen with plenty of storage and seating for four people.
Then to top the design off a large deck was added to the home for a family that loves to entertain in an outdoor area.
Our design brief was to deliver a home that was in keeping with the feel of the original home while embracing the streetscape.
The back of the house is ultra modern and designed around a family that wanted to place to chill out and share time with friends.
Overall this design is a combination of new and old.
