Our qualified building designers have worked on our 200 projects in the Inner West and City of Sydney, with all of them successfully approved via Development Applications or Complying Development.
The brief on this project was to create more space and open plan living.
As it’s a classic inner city terrace the 2 bedrooms at the front of this home were left untouched, the back of the home was completed redesigned.
The ground floor bathroom was reconfigured for the kids with a shower, toilet and basin.
The staircase was offset in the new kitchen allowing the cabinetry to be built under it, a very clever use of space.
The back of the house is open plan with the kitchen, living and dining one large open space overlooking the backyard.
Upstairs was design as a parent’s retreat and work area. The first floor addition includes a large master bedroom, big family bathroom with a good size tub, a small study nook and a large office with a balcony at the back.
The clever use of space let us fall well within the floor space ratio and deliver the client a forever home.
This Development Application sailed through council.
